Surface Scrubbing
We begin by using single-disc floor scrubbers equipped with nylon brushes and eco-friendly cleaning solutions. This removes dust, debris, stains, and surface residue from the marble or granite floor—creating a spotless base for the restoration process.
Dirt & Grime Removal
We apply degreasers and neutral pH cleaners to break down oil, cement stains, and grime. The process ensures optimal bonding for further mechanical treatments and helps avoid future discoloration.
Rinse & Dry
After scrubbing, we use wet vacuum cleaners to extract dirty water and allow the surface to dry completely, ensuring the floor is ready for the next stage of grinding.
Grinding the Imperfections
We perform floor grinding using heavy-duty triple-head planetary grinders fitted with diamond abrasives. This step removes scratches, lippage (height differences), cement spots, and any damaged top layer from the stone surface.
Progressive Grit Sequence
Grinding is done in stages with grit levels ranging from 30 to 400, ensuring deep-level smoothing. We use water-fed systems to prevent dust and cool the surface during operation.
Stain Extraction
For stubborn stains, we apply poultice packs or oxalic acid depending on stone type. Our team ensures uniform grinding across edges and corners using handheld angle grinders.
Honing for Smoothness
We use diamond-impregnated pads (grit 800–1500) to hone the surface. This step helps close micro-pores, removes fine scratches, and brings a soft satin-like texture that is ideal for polishing.
Edge Refinement
We carefully hone edges, corners, and skirting with variable-speed hand tools to match the uniform finish across the entire floor. This ensures no harsh transitions or unfinished surfaces.
Residue Neutralization
After honing, we clean the floor with a neutralizer solution to remove all slurry, ensuring no chemical traces are left behind that might affect polishing agents.
Polishing & Restoration
We polish the surface using high-speed burnishers and resin pads (grit 3000+). Depending on the floor type, we use either crystallization agents or a diamond polishing compound to enhance gloss and depth.
Product Used: Crystallizer Gel
For marble, we apply specialized crystallizer gel that reacts with calcium in the stone, forming a hard, mirror-like layer that boosts clarity and hardness.
Finishing Touches
We manually polish narrow areas and door corners. After final polishing, the floor is buffed using microfiber pads to remove any haze and bring out the full brilliance.
Buffing & Sealing
We complete the process by buffing the surface using ultra-fine pads to enhance the gloss further. This is followed by sealing the floor with a premium-grade penetrating sealer.
Product Used: Stone Sealer
We use high-performance sealers from brands like Faber or Tenax, which create an invisible layer that resists moisture, oil, and spills—while allowing the stone to breathe.
Final Inspection
Our team inspects the entire floor under natural and artificial light to ensure consistency, clarity, and flawlessness—before handing it over to the client.
